On Monday 14 October from 6.30 – 8.00pm, Chris Lermanis will present an author talk at the Fitzroy Library Reading Room.

As a refugee, and as a child who spoke no English when he arrived in Melbourne, Chris Lermanis often felt he was looking in at a world he didn't understand. He used photography to open windows onto other communities, particularly the children and families of Fitzroy.

Join Chris in celebrating the launch of his exquisite book of photography that documents the changing values, architecture, and communities of Melbourne.

Presented in partnership with The Ewing Trust.

The Thomas, Samuel and George Ewing Trust is a fund that fosters literacy, libraries, and a lifelong love of learning in the historic Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy.

Fitzroy Library is fortunate to have the continued support of the Ewing Trust endowment that allows for the development and presentation of a range of events and projects for the benefit of Fitzroy residents and visitors.
